(1) Bundle of Sweet Grass

This travel size bundle of sweetness is also known as holy grass, vanilla grass, buffalo grass - the list goes on! The leaves are collected, dried, then braided for burning which provides cold relief and aromatherapy.  When prepared as tea, sweet grass helps relieve coughs, sore throats, and venereal diseases. This grass is heaven sent for birthing mamas because drinking tea grass after giving birth prevents vaginal bleeding and helps expel the placenta. Sweet grass is traditonally given as a gift to others in many Indigenous communities. Who will you give yours to?

(1) BWYC Succulent + Pot

POC and Black Women's Yoga Co go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly, like Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald, like cacti in a desert, like Kobe and the Lakers!! BWYC sells succulents from their LA headquarters all year round and we're lucky enough to have them as a part of our Los Angeles Box this month. Palm trees may not be native to LA but succulents are! POC is especially proud to partner with BWYC because they fight to increase access to wellness for people of color and create representation for black women in yoga each and every day.

(1) Pyrite stone

Known as "fools gold" but this stone ain't for no fool! It's actually quite lucky; helping to attract abundance, wealth and prosperity. Like a protective parent figure, Pyrite shields, protects, and even helps you make thoughtful business decisions. It has a chemical composition of iron sulfide (FeS2) and is the most common sulfide mineral.

(16) Matches

Natural wood match sticks with white tips.

Is it just us or is lighting things on fire with matches way more fun than with lighter fluid?

(1) Bag of Nola by Keeks

Quite honestly, the BEST 3oz bag of granola you've ever had. Somehow Nola by Keeks is tasty AND free of refined sugars, gluten, eggs, dairy, and non-plant based oils. HOW KEEKS?  The Nola By Keeks Project provides women, in and out of the LGBTQ community, with access to supportive professional mental health services by offering charitable donations to like-minded and affordable women- and LGBTQ-centered organizations with every bag sold.
