POC was founded by Shaëlle a Haitian multi-disciplinary artist living in Los Angeles. Shaëlle has a love for travel.
Shaëlle led her first trip abroad her senior year of college to India. There her group brought and educational, agriculture and art program to the students of the Amar Jyoti school.
Since then (9 years ago) Shaëlle has temporarily lived in Argentina, Haiti and Bali. All places that have contributed to her idea for POC Retreats.

World Event: In the event of a significant global occurrence, such as a COVID-19 shutdown or a World War, necessitating the complete cancellation of the trip, attendees will receive a full refund.
